Intraplás invests more than 15 million euros in sustainability and expansion
Santo Tirso, November 2024 – Intraplás, the Portuguese company that is a world leader in sustainable packaging solutions for the dairy industry, announces an investment program of more than 15 million euros between 2023 and 2024. This amount was invested in a series of strategic projects to strengthen its Extrusion and Packaging units, consolidating the company’s position as a global benchmark in the sector. More than 20 direct and indirect jobs jobs was also created.
The investments include
– The installation of a new PET and PS extrusion line with advanced food grade decontamination technology, increasing production capacity and promoting sustainable solutions;
– The implementation of a packaging production line with state-of-the-art In-Mold Labelling Thermoformed (IML-T) technology, responding to the demand for efficient, high-quality packaging;
– Strengthening the range of paper packaging solutions for the dairy and beverage industries, combining attractive design with environmental responsibility.
